The machine is a completely integrated rinsing, filling, capping and conveying system for small PET bottles. Each system incorporates an automatically washer, filler, and capper.
 
They are fully interconnected together for a most efficient space saving layout, and to be operated by a minimum number of personal.
This machine incorporates an exclusive esthetically pleasing fully enclosed design, whereby no unnecessary side or internal plumbing is visible, yet the machine is easily accessible by openable side panels. All piping and motors are covered and protected.

Single Filling Machines & Monoblock/ Rinser/ Filler/ Capper
 
The latest generation of NHN offered monoblocks has been designed in order to rationalize the production process and is distinguished by its advanced technology, concentrated into a limited space.
 
Rinsing, filling and capping of plastic or glass bottles can be effected with natural or sparking mineral water, fruit juices or soft drinks and any other product that acquires the same treatment. Operator friendly function, accuracy, minimal rejections and thorough sanitary operations
 


4.1 Rinser filler Capper
Rinser filler capper monoblocks are consisted of up to three units:
  1. Rinsing
  2. Filling
  3. Capping
The first phase concerns only the internal pat of the bottle and can take place only with sterile water, with the possible addition of nitrogen or other inert gases.
The second phase can be effected by various systems depending on the product in question: gravity filling, low vacuum, high vacuum, counter pressure, hot filling of Non-Carbonated drinks. Particular care has been taken with the C.I.P sanitization either by means of dispersion in the ring bowl, or in the counter flow, with recovery channel and dummy bottles.
The third phase is supplied by means of various turrents according to the cap type
(Crown cork, aluminium R.O.P.P, plastic press-on caps and pre-threaded plastic caps) including the caps difficult to transfer (pick and place).
Bottle washing system
The bottles are held by the neck and inverted to give an even wash to the bottles. This unique washing system, washes the bottles from the outside as well as the inside, it adopts Multi-Channel rinsing to ensure through clean. All rinsers are also made of stainless steel 316-food grade material. This washer adopts a two wash cycle system. Hot water wash is also available as option.
Bottle filling system
The entire filling system is Low Vacuum Gravity (LVG) system. The filling levels of the bottles are controlled through PLC, which leads to accurate filling. Also there is an in-built electric probe in the product tank to control the water level. To ensure that there is no wastage of final product, No filling takes place if there is No bottle present.
Bottle capping System
This is Simple mechanical operation. Cam driven by main drive of moderate system. Copper heads pick the caps firmly from cap-chute and place them on the bottle with rotating descending motion. Cap is tightly fixed on the bottle with optimum torgue by the copper heads.
Equipment is complete with Cap hopper, chute, cap release mechanism, sensory and safety devices. System flexible to adapt various cap designs by simply changing capper heads. No bottle- No cap design.

Filler Valves
Low vacuum filling system suitable for clear products
Before beginning the filling phase we effect a low depression inside the bottle. The vacuum filling system is generally used for products such as still wine, vinegar, spirit, clear juice, milk, in glass and plastic bottles.
Gravity filling with separated air return (the air in the bottle is conveyed in a separated collector) in order to avoid any possible contamination of the product inside the filling tank. This kind of filling system is the most suitable for still mineral water in plastic or in glass bottles.

4.2 Conveyor
4.2.1 Air conveyor

Function principle
  • To blow clean air around the bottle whilst providing an important over pressure in order to prevent any ingress of injected outside air into the blowing channel. The air- tight shield is sized as a function of the bottle conveyor.

4.2.2 SS slat-chain conveyors
Motorized chain conveyors that move empty or full containers. Units have variable speed drives with stainless steel, delrin or acid resistant poly belt. Fits any existing conveyor or machine with 1.2m (3 ft) height adjustment. Belts available in 11cm (4.5 in), 18 cm (7.5 in), and 30cm (12 in) widths. Conveyors come in fully modular lengths of 1.5 m (5 ft), 3m (10 ft), 4.5m (15ft), 6m (20ft), 7.5 m (25 ft), etc. Special models are available for strong acids, flammable products and dairy and pharmaceutical applications. Also available in non- standard lengths and curved models (90 and 180 degrees). Rails can expand for containers from 10 ml to 25 liters. Conveyor frame and channels with bottle guides are fabricated as per customer’s requirements in SS, MS-powder coated and plastic body materials respectively.

4.2.3 Roller conveyors
Applications for transporting boxes, cartons, bulk bottles horizontally by variable speed driven motor or by gravity system
Rollers are fabricated is hardened aluminium material affixed with frame with roller bearing housing. Distance from one to another is designed as per nature of product to be transported. The body and stand are fabricated in stainless steel or powder coated MS fabrication material
Length and width can be varied from 25cms to 40cms with height adjustment support mechanism. Product guides are provided with plastic strips for minimum friction mounted on frame with width adjustment accessories. Curves for directional changes of transport path are provided as per process and customers requirement.

4.4 Cap Sleeve Applicator

Equipment for application of Tamper evident cap seal on the bottle. The seals are mounted in a roll form and the roll is precisely cut to defined seal height and placed on the cap of the on-line bottle. Shrinking device ensures shrinking of the seal with cap and bottle. Compact designs (2m x1m) available for production capacities ranging from 6,000 - 12,000 bottles/hr.

4.5 Ink-Jet printer

The systems are small character ink-jet printers specially required for PET bottling lines. 4.6 Carton forming machines

These machines are designed for fully automatic carton forming which are generally fed to the machine by a magazine, which has a capacity ranging between 150-300 cartons depending on the thickness of the cartons. These cartons can be sealed at the bottom, either by adhesive or with hot melt glue depending on the requirement.
The carton-forming machine consists of the following:
  • Carton hopper
  • Bottom flap folding machine
  • Carton sealing machine
Operation of machine Angled magazine
The flat cases are stored in a magazine, the angle of which minimizes the pressure exerted on the case as it is presented for extraction. A double pivoting arm with suction cups grips the case and pulls it down and deposits it on the transfer carriage.

Case securely held during erection

The case is transferred and precisely positioned at the opening station. The underneath of the case is firmly gripped by several suction cups. A pivoting arm with two rows of suction cups grips the end panel of the case and pulls it up through 90 degree

The outer bottom flaps are opened slightly to ensure that the inner flaps are closed efficiently without touching the other ones. All these operations are carried out whilst the case is stationery and securely held. Two moving arms start the closing operation of the outer flaps.

The transfer carriage is controlled by continuous mechanical movement, which provides a smooth stop at each operating station.

Adjustable compression plate

Hot melt glue is applied to the inner flaps during transfer using a temperature-controlled tank, hose and gun. At same time the outer flaps are closed using fixed guides.
The squaring of the case and compression applied to the bottom flaps are made by using an adjustable ram. An external pressure plate provides the necessary counter pressure.
For cases with glued in divisions, the machine can be provided with specially designed pressure plate. After compression the case is pushed out of the machine.

4.8 Gluing Machine for carton sealing

This model is adjustable pre-set fully automatic flap closer, the indexing system is controlled electronically and pneumatically and releases cartons one by one to the flap folding and hot glue spray/application section where the flaps perpendicular to direction of movements of cartons are folded and then hot melt glue is sprayed from hot glue system for fraction of seconds by hose and gun on these flaps which gives thin line of hot glue on these flaps.

4.8 Carton Sealer Hotmelt type

After glue spray the flaps parallel to movement of cartons are folded and cartons are guided/pushed by guide rod to the pressing section, which contains top rollers to press the top flaps for perfect binding/sealing and side guide rollers to ensure proper centering while binding and for smooth movement.

4.9 Shrink-wrap packing

The NHN semi and fully automatic shrink-wrapping machines are highly versatile. They can pack various products such as PET and Glass bottles of different sizes and shapes in a wide range of pack collision. These are continuous cycle machines without a welding bar able to make packs with or without trays or flat cartons. Shrink-wrapping without welding, with the film placed under the pack and the possibility of printing on the film by means of an electronic device.

This machine is used for shrink-wrapping your products with PVC/LDPE Shrinkable film. This is the most economical combination with a wide range of application. 4.10 Turntables
Revolving table feeds or removes bottles from moving conveyor. Units have variable speed drive with reversible rotation. Can be mounted on either side of conveyor. Tops are stainless steel or polyethylene and come in 3 standard sizes: 45m (18 in), 1m (42in), and 1.5 m (60 in) with a 0.3 m (12 in) height adjustment.

4.11 BOPP Tape sealer for carton sealing

This type of carton sealer model is adjustable machine, which is pre-set as per size of cartons and seals the carton from both top and bottom by BOPP tape. Only one operator is required to close the flaps of cartons manually and push the cartons for sealing, machines has inbuilt gravity rollers at the both the infeed and outfeed for easy and smooth movements of cartons before and after sealing

Model: NHN / 4.11 / BOPPA
This model is adjustable per-set with automatic carton sealing and automatic flap closer. It does not require any operator and can be attached at the end of the line flap and carton sealing at the top. It takes sealed loaded cartons from the conveyor system automatically index them into the top flap folding section and then seals the top BOPP tape.
The indexing system controlled electronically and pneumatically ensures that only one carton is released from endless belt to flap folding section and other carton is released only when the first carton reaches top sealing section. This features avoids the chances of two-three cartons getting released and sealed together.
