Multimedia Filtration
NHN Multi-media filter are ideal for removal of fine suspended
particles present in the source water. The deep-bed systems use 4 layers of
media supported by gravel-bed at the bottom. Suspended particles upto 30 micron
size are efficiently removed at the system flow rate of 10 gpm/ft. The systems
require backwashing to remove the accumulated contamination of suspended
particles and rinsed by downflow clean filtered water before use.
Multi-media filters available with Automatic and or manual
operational features.

Activated Carbon Filtration
NHN Activated carbon filters are very efficient to remove
chlorine, colour, odour,organic elements & pesticide residues by adsorption
process. The highly porouscoconut-shell Granular Activated carbon media
provides larger surface area for efficient removal of contaminants at higher
flow rates
Periodic backwashing advised to clean the Granular Activated
Carbon for efficient functioning and longer life of media. Activated Carbon
Filters available with Automatic or manual operational features.

Softener - Single Tank Water Conditioners
 |
NHN Softener are equipped with Cation Exchange Resin media
placed on gravel bed to reduce hardness of water. Compounds of Calcium and
Magnesium impart hardness to water are responsible for scaling of pipes and
earlier fouling of RO membranes. The cation exchange resin replaces calcium,
magnesium and other cations present in water with sodium ions.
Systems designed to suit process and regeneration cycle requirements specified
by the customer. Easy operations featured with automatic and or manual
functions are available.

|
Fluid enters the filter under pressure and flows through the
filter media, holes in the center tubes and perforations in the rods that hold
the cartridges in place. As the fluid continues its path, it flows upward past
the top seat where it splits over into the standpipe as it hits the filter's
domed lid. Notice the top of the standpipe is at high point of the filter.
Also, note the filter catridges are sealed at the bottom and held in place with
threaded pipe caps. This unique design offers the following significant
advantages:

No Air Entrapment During Operation
Air entrapment during operation is eliminated because the outlet is located at
the high point of the filter above inlet.

No Fluid By-pass During Servicing
Fluids cannot by-pass filters during servicing because the
filter's outlet (top of standpipe) is located above the filter's inlet. A
significant advantage in critical filtration applications.

Pressure Rated
Industrial Filters may be safely used in pressures up to 150
psi.

Fail-Safe Lids
Lids come standard with wing nuts so they may be easily opened
